Just noticed tonight that my front near-side jacking point is collapsed into the sill (Audi A6 Allroad 57 plate). Pulled on the plastic jacking block and it came off in my hand. The underside of the sill is badly corroded. Looking for recommendations for a good body shop in the Glasgow area who will do a professional repair on the sill. Cheers, Paul

Use a floor jack. You couldn't pay me to use that cheap p.o.s Audi supplies

Thanks, however that doesn't answer my question! The one about body repair shop recommendation?

You are right. Sorry. I can locate Glasgow on a globe? Just being sarcastic. Don't get many good answers on this forum for some reason.

I was being sarcastic towards the previous poster - I shouldn't have taken the bait! Not got any gripes towards the forum. All forums sadly have members who prefer to offer irrelevant responses rather than anything of value. I still hold out hope that someone will actually respond to my OP with something of value.

I should have pointed out it was aimed at him, not your good self. American forums do seem to be more technically advanced than our own but then again there are 300 million of them to our 60 million.

I agree. I was being light hearted not sarcastic. Sadly no matter what country you live in there are people that take themselves wayyy to serious. I also said I hope someone can help you with your problem. With the number of people on this forum you would think at least ONE would have an answer. I would be the first one to help if I could. Unfortunately I can't. But, lighten up people. Life is too short. I've had a ton of people poke at some of my questions and I laugh. Hope the weather in Glasgow is better than it is here in Wisconsin. 5 inches of snow and 3 degrees F. At least I got to test out my ESP!! Works fine.
