Passenger side wind (or road) noise: or is it just me?

Hi all
I have my Q7 e-tron about a year now and have 35k Km on it. Super smooth & quite multi-purpose car.

Since new I have a sneaky suspicion there is a slight excess of wind/road noise at motorway speed (120kph/70mph). To me it originates around the passenger side window area, but is impossible to pin down. Obviously the car is fairly silent anyhow and unfortunately I don't have the double glazing option that I had in my previous car.

In fairness to Audi they checked and aligned the passenger side doors, but could see nothing wrong. Unusually I was recently a passenger in the front and this reconfirmed my perception of slightly more noise on the passenger side than sitting in my normal drivers seat.

The noise is not loud, and not like a whistling of a open window. The best example is like the turbulent noise from an air-con duct or extraction duct: low frequency noise of moving air in pipework. And it's only perceptible at motorway speed, and on low noise road surfaces. Woe is me :-(

What thoughts???

Have you checked the vent in the door pillar, facing the rear passenger.

I had to close it on my e-tron .
