    wifes car had coil light come on last night followed by safe mode - coil light out this morning but car wont rev past 2500, car done about 150000 now long journeys daily
    any idea on fault codes ?

    I think 4892 is EGR valve malfunction what would cause Limp mode.
    Current cars:
    2007 Passat b6 2.0 tdi BMR DSG
    2013 Golf MK7 1.6 tdi 5 speed
