    Hello guys,

I been having this code for some weeks. I have a Passat 2010 B6 with 2.0 140 CR CBA Engine. So basically the coil light starts flashing and the car seems slower, not by much but I think I can feel it. It happend several times randomly, always the engine was warm and at low rpms.

    This is what I found:

    Code:
    1 Fault Found:
009571 - Turbocharger Boost Control Position Sensor Circuit
                   P2563 - 000 - Implausible Signal
                 Freeze Frame:
                        Fault Status: 01100000

                        Fault Frequency: 1
                        Reset counter: 255
                        Mileage: 219821 km
                        Time Indication: 0
                        Date: 2013.06.05
                        Time: 16:05:32

                 Freeze Frame:
                        RPM: 1817 /min
                        Speed: 38.0 km/h

                        Voltage: 2.508 V

    Another previous fault.

    Code:
    009571 - Turbocharger Boost Control Position Sensor Circuit P2563 - 000 - Implausible Signal - MIL ON
                 Freeze Frame:
                        Fault Status: 11100000
                        Fault Priority: 2
                        Fault Frequency: 10
                        Reset counter: 255
                        Mileage: 219803 km
                        Time Indication: 0
                        Date: 2041.14.04
                        Time: 14:26:28

                 Freeze Frame:
                        RPM: 851 /min
                        Speed: 4.0 km/h
                        Voltage: 14.06 V
                        Lambda: 41.0 %
                        Lambda: -2.4 %
                        Bin. Bits: 00001110
                        Voltage: 2.736 V

So, the Implausible Signal is the -2.4% value on the Lambda

Here I have the full Auto Scan

    AutoScan1.txt

And here I did a log of the Measuring Block 34 and 32 under WOT in 2nd and 3rd gear.

    LOG-01-034-032.CSV.txt

Now, after reading several threads it looks like the most probably cause is the diaphragm in the turbo actuator is leaking (also called "vacuum unit for turbocharger")

    vw.passat.jpg
In the workshop manual for CBA engines:

    Code:
    Pressure canister
With position sender for charge pressure positioner - G581-
    So I have some questions:

    1. What do you guys think?
    2. How far off I'm of the actual issue
    3. Anyone has experience changing this?
    4. Is it hard to calibrate once replaced?

    Thanks for the help!

    Hi Everyone quick update.

I bought a vacuum tool for 15€ and tested the vacuum, there was a leak:

    Wastegate.jpg

Then I bought the wastegate in a VW dealership 195€ and you will need a tool similar to this one: Runtime Error cost me 6€. 2 hours to change it.

    Thanks Crasher!
