Kessy problems

Hi, I have a 2006 Passat 2.0 sel estate which is fitted with the Kessy system,(I didn't know it had this for a few months after getting it Lol) anyway, the problem is that it works on the tailgate, and the engine starting, but not on any of the other doors, so I wondered if anyone has any knowledge of this system, and what the cause of the problem could be. Hi, so does your car have a button to start it?
Mine has this fitted from new, it has the little lumps on the handles but just a normal 'key'. Normal as in pushing the key in the hole to start the car.

There is a plastic key fob blank with 'KESSY' written on the end of the silver part, this lives permanently in the key slot on the dashboard.

Mine must have been changed then at sometime. Never mind, it is there in spirit.
