    Hi all,

Firstly happy new year to everyone.

I just wanted to pass on a recommendation for a company I recently used to repair my Audi remote control key.

Mine is an advance key (keyless) and one of the keys was playing up, needing to be tapped to get it to work. Initially I thought it was a low battery so replaced, but that made no difference.

I did some web research and found a company that specialises in key repair. I emailed them to ask if they could fix the issue and they quickly responded to say yes.

The key was sent off last Friday, and I got an email on Monday to say it was on it's way back. It arrived Tuesday and works a treat. Not only did they fix it, they replaced the keypad so it looks new. A really nice touch was a detailed description on how to repair the key with the car if it was needed, both the manual method, and if that failed how to do it in VCDS. I didn't need to do this but was impressed with the attention to detail.

So if you have a key that is playing up give these guys consideration:

Remote Key Repair Service Automobile Locksmith | Remote Key Repair Service | Key Fix Remote Car Keys

I have no connection to these guys other than being a satisfied customer.

Just in case this is of use to anyone else.

    Cheers guys.

    Andy

I'll second this, took the recommendation above and sent a ropey key that worked from time to time to these guys on Monday this week. Key was returned by registered post yesterday, Wednesday. Instructions included and followed and hey presto it works like a charm.
    Buttons and microswitches replaced.
Again, no connection with the guys, just another happy customer.
