Fixed Towbar

i have a 2006 avant with parking sensors.

i want to get a towbar for taking bikes around (i already have the bike carrier from a previous car). My previous cars were XC90 and Skoda Superb, and both were lenient with the parking sensors - as in, i could leave the detachable towbar fitted and it wouldn't sound the sensors unless they activated in their normal way.

i don't fancy dropping £200-250 on a detachable for this car, so only want to spend c.£150 on a fixed one - with a bottom entry from the bumper to minimise the bumper cut.

Has anyone had any experience on a fixed towbar with an A6 avant? will the sensors sound continuously when in reverse, or can they be physically adjusted to not see the towbar?

i have VCDS, but don't think i can adjust the sensors in that.

i was going to go for something like this.
would prefer to leave on the car - helps as its a deterrent for cars parking too close - unfortunately my last car got whacked hard after i removed my removable one. i plan to use it every couple of weeks. if its not used for a longer period or if it interferes too much with the sensors, i'll slip under and undo the 2 bolts, thus making it removable.
