    The tour pack (with adaptive cruise control) does actively steer. It will keep the car in the centre of the lane at speed on motorways, or automatically steer in slow moving traffic jams. You can remove your hands for the steering wheel for a certain amount of time, the car will continue to steer, but will warn you to put your hands back on! There is a pretty good video here:

    After owning the car for a week I do find it unnerving when on windy country roads where you sometimes have no choice but to move out of lane when cornering (unless you slow right down which is silly when the road is clear). That said, it is handy on dual carriageways as it makes me indicate when pulling in after overtaking to avoid it telling me off for driving like a Beamer driver:-)

    LOL! I also find I indicate much more that I used to when changing lane, even when no other cars are about"

    I don't have the tour pack but my car wheel vibrates and activly steers me back. I do the the version i had on my old A7 was better though.
