    It did, but only after I'd looked it up! I consider myself reasonably knowledgeable about 'old' cars, but I've never come across that company. Obviously nowhere near as knowledgeable as you - thanks for that.

    A product of being dragged around car museums when a child! Father was an RAF engineer and a part time car mechanic 'helping' fellow servicemen with their car and motorbike issues on the side.

    It's ok Andy, they are not usually used in the automotive industry where the more common XZN 12 point format is encountered. Can't remember which car it was but one I did had practically every type used - hex, XZN, torx, star and those E type sockets (sort of rounded female torx) like on Vauxhalls.

    If you have several makes like our family - a lot of tools!
