2011 using shed loads of screen wsh

Wifes car and its a bit of a joke just how much screenwash the thing uses.
I know the bottle is quite small, but it seems to need topping up all the time.
Her last A6 a 2010 model the bottle leaked, but this one is bone dry.

It has xenons, so has headlamp wash, Tbh I dont know how often this comes on? on my car the headlamp gets washed every third blast of the sceen washers.

Anyone else had this issue?

When you fill up the bottle do the washers all work?

The headlight washers only come on when in the headlight mode not in auto and they work on every 5th wash cycle.

I had this issue and and traced it to leaking headlamp washers.

Yeah leaking headlight washers caused this for me too.

Steve by auto mode I take it you mean the lights or the wipers?
I know its a daft question but I might drive the car once a year if that!

Shes home shortly so I will check how she switches the lights on.

Steve and Jubbly did you need new headlamp wahers to cure the leak or did you repair them?

I replaced both headlamp washers. I used pattern parts from a seller on eBay as the genuine Audi items are over £80 each. I think I paid between £30 and £40 for the pair.

My washer was dripping so I could see which one had failed, replacement one was faulty but the second one fixed the leak.

Yes mate I meant headlamps in auto mode. I don’t think this has a bearing on your fault, I was only pointing out that my headlamp washers work in headlamp auto mode as dan said they only work with the lights selected and not in auto.
