brakes done about a year, year and half ago, new rear disks and pads

the off side rear outer pad is now to the metal..

the hand brake arm is returning fully, dont think its sticking or cable

    the sliders and moving freely

the pads were alittle tight on the carriers, prised out with a screw driver.

am thinking its either the after market pads have been to tight or the caliper piston. but if the caliper was at fault, wouldnt that mean more inner pad ware than outer?

Failed calipers, a constant PQ35 platform problem, the thing is WHY is it nearly always the right hand side, we like to do both just in case.

Aye caliper was seized. Only done the one side.

After clamping the brake line , I shouldn't need to bleed brake right ?( Edit: yes I need to bleed lol. Did I really ask that ?)

Edit , best way setting up caliper / hand brake .. few pumps of brake pedal then apply hand brake ?
