Hi there, I’m new not only to Audi’s but also to forums. If someone can help that’ll be amazing.

I have an Audi A4 2.4 V6 cabriolet, very clean and tidy. But, the roof, it works to a degree, upon opening it doesn’t fully hold into the back but a couple of inches which therefore stop the mental cover seating, it lowers over it, can’t lock into place so opens up again, but when I close the roof it closes perfectly and locks itself into the correct places.

Could this is be a roof position sensor? Or something I should worry about?

It’s a 2003 model, with no warning lights on the dash

Is the storage box in the right position, often the handle frame is cracked and the switch bodged out so it won't fully retract.
