    Evening all, 2015 A6 Allroad 3.0tdi 160kw 218bhp CRTE engine

I believe I have a bad injector seal, I can hear the escaping of gas and also smell the exhaust fumes when sat in the car and stationary.

Now trying to find the right part up to now has been a pain, searching the internet is not bringing up many options. Unless I pay £8.50 for a £2 part.

I know I could go to the dealers but for some reason I'm not sure they would sell the part separately from the injector.

Part number I've managed to find is 05a 130 519.

Usual Google search and ebay search shows up loads of 3.0tdi seals but when you run the compatibility check they all come up not suitable.

So does anyone know what injector seals are suitable and where I could purchase them? I only need 1.

    Thanks

You should be able to get the seals separtely from the injector

i had all the injector seals replaced back earlier this year without having to buy the injectors

i dont know any part numbers sadly as the garage sourced all the parts I needed

Well just been on the phone to my local Audi dealership and they do sell the parts separately, they are a little expensive but not as much as the could of been.

For the copper injector seal its £11.24 each
For the O'Ring half way up injector its £1.12 each

That sounds expensive until I phoned an independent I used for servicing on my last C7, they want £79.81 to change one injector seal, £173.43 to do the whole bank or the seal kit as they called it, to supply only was £21.51 + VAT.

So looks like a trip to my local dealership who, are only 3miles from my house and they have them in stock.

Just need to watch a few more videos but I'm happy to do the job anyways.

    Wow that is expensive!

i paid approx £500 to have all 6 injector seals, the washers and both rocker cover gaskets replaced along with a turbo pipe (£80 on its own)
