Both sides of the sunroof leaking in. Driver side is a slightly slower leak. Going from someone else's recommendation I bought captain tolleys sealer which runs into the cracks and seals itself after a few applications. And have just applied once now to both sides. Because the sealer is so watery it has been going into the car.. (id rather that for 2 days to fix it than a soaking wet carpet). From testing it to see where it's leaking through I found that in the photo, it's getting in where the sealant has filled up there slightly. Through a join from the plastic part to aluminium. Fingers crossed after a few coats I see some improvements

3 days in and starting to see results of the sealant doing it's job. Not leaking in at all now. Hopefully this will be the last coat

Yes the drain holes are in a different panel. This is along the right and left side of the sunroof right along side the sunroof? If that makes sense. The drain holes are hard to miss they're lower down and at each front corner

Was just curious and wanted to make sure you hadn't blocked drain holes. Hopefully your sealer idea works and you have no further trouble with it and get to enjoy your car.

Mate, thanks a massive amount for this thread and the pics. Not long chopped my C6 in for a C7 with the pano roof, and was greeted a few days ago by a wet drivers footwell. Having fallen foul of this on my c6 I immediately checked the scuttle drains and cleaned out a massive load of dirt, leaves and pine needles that were clogging some drains on the drivers side (RHD car). It's worth unclipping the ECU and moving it out of the way, and moving the e-box (take the lid off then remove the 2 x 10mm nuts) to get access to underneath with a hoover and something to scrape all the crap loose. With these out fo the way you can also remove the rubber bung of the scuttle drain to de-clog/clean it. With it removed check that the void below it isn't full of crap like mine was! The heat shield from the turbo made a little shelf to collect crap...

I thought I had this sorted, when I was greeted by more water leaking down the A post today. A quick bit of google and I found the thread you mentioned where the guy with the Yeti had the same issue, then I found this thread! Tipped some water into the drains to make sure it's not them, they're working as expected. So I've ordered some captain tolleys sealer! It looks like the previous owner has has a repair of some sort done previously, but it's not doing the job! Will report back with the results once I've tried your fix.

    Thanks again Josh.
