    Hi guys!

I am going to be taking delivery of my new A6 C8 sometime in the next few days...I can't work out why some have a retractable cover over the cupholders in the center console and others are open?! I asked my local dealership and he said that they are all open but images shown on reviews and C8 cars for sale show them both ways....

Anyone know why this is and what spec/options may affect it? Not a big deal, I am just intrigued more than anything!

    Cheers, Loz

Do you mean you don't have a cover on yours?

Picked mine up on Saturday (very happy BTW ).

My cupholders do have the retractable cover. It wasn't an option.

As far as I know, the optional cupholders are in the rear armrest.

Thanks PaulDiabolo! I guess I will just have to wait and see but it's bizarre that no-one I have spoken to at Audi seems to know such a basic point!

I'm assuming you mean the hinged brushed aluminium cover over the front cup holders in the centre console? Mine has that and so has every other C8 I've sat in. I know some images, including those on the configurator seem to show it open, but these all related to LHD cars.

There you go, the right hand drive car has it, the left hand drive one doesn't.

Yes, I did wonder that but the dealer must have got his wires crossed as he told me that none of the C8s come with a hinged cover!

    Many thanks
