Help please, Audi 2009 S5. I've got the engine light on with P0171 and P0174 (Fuel Lean banks 1 and 2) and also P0101 Mass Air Sensor Circuit Range/Performance. If i clear the codes the faults come back after approx 25 to 30 miles. I've relaced with a new Bosch Mass Sensor which hasn't cured the problem also can't find any air leaks as I believe Lean Fuel means too much air.

    Thanks

Bank 1 and 2 means oxygen sensors fitted 1 before the cat converter and 1 after it.

He mentions Banks 1 AND 2. I would have thought if your statement was correct it would say B1 S2.... Bank one sensor 2 of catalyst.

Hi Alan,as the language of mechanical interpretation if the first one is faulty,it is classed as a whole unit (Bank 1 Sensor 1 not part of and so on (Bank 2 Sensor 2).
