Right so I have just picked up my 3rd mk5 golf and have run into a bit off a problem, all the electronic items in my drivers door do NOT work the only things that do are the speakers (tweeter aswell). I have checked all the fuses and all seem to be ok I have removed inner and outer door panels and checked all the plugs and the harness; found nothing wrong no broken wires, I have also looked arround the 8 pin plug between the door and car found nothing wrong? Any ideas what it could be it’s driving me nuts.
    List of items not working:
    -windows up/down
    -mirror adjuster knob
    -central locking buttons
    -fuel cap release
    -central locking

Note - I have tried undoing windows with key and none work also tried inserting key and holding it in both positions... still no luck!

    fuses are o.k.
most likely be the wiring harness which comes through the piller into driver side door.

Post full scan of returned codes after clearing and key cycle. Common issue can then be traced with reference to circuit diagrams. As mentioned, corrosion at a connector may be a factor, plenty others with potential too, however.
