    hi,

so basically ive had a problem with my climate control where the hole motor system has completely shut off. Also i suspect this is the cause of why my car is having a battery drain. I have also replaced one of the motors thinking it was broken but later tested and found out it wasn't actually broken. This has really been driving me crazy as i dont know what to do with the issue. i have a vag com and did some diagnostics and pretty much every time i scan the care it throws up different codes. its basically saying there is a mechanical fault with every single motor in the car....... it does say sometimes it has a short in the system sometimes. i feel that it could be something simple as a wiring issue for it to turn off the hole system. im prepared to take the entire dash out but would feel better about it if i had a guide on how to do it.

here is one the scans just as an idea of what the problem could be. if anyone could help me i would really appreciate it as im having to jump my car every morning plus drive to work with no heating and steamed windows.

For a guide a Haynes manual is worth the investment. Can be picked up quite cheap now. Word of warning I did this on an a4 to swap a heater matrix. It was a right pain but I got there in the end.

Make sure the battery is fully charged and then carry out the basic settings and see what comes back
