Good evening, new to this and not very mechanically minded bit don’t know what else to do.
So I had the fuel gauge not giving a reading so found the fuel sensor had fallen out of its holding place in the fuel pump, fixed this but on repair I snapped the lug off the black hose and whilst trying to get the snapped lug out of the black hose I accidentally twisted the hose and have broke it. I don’t know the name of this hose or how to replace it. Any help would be amazing. Thank you.

Are you still trying to fix this? If so, what engine code and do any of the parts you can see / have broken have part number like "1K 123 456 X" on them to help others recognise what you've done?

Engine code is on sticker in service book, or usually in boot under-trim. 3-letters, typically starting with A or B, kind of alone on the sticker, as shown here: Data Sticker/Options Sticker and Engine Codes | VW TDI forum, Audi, Porsche, and Chevy Cruze diesel forum.
