Andy that’s good news. I can’t really afford it so will give it a miss. I’m like you when it comes to parking. I am that sad git who is parked miles away in the distance then some how I get back to the car and I have a car parked either side of me
i have now started reading this sub forum from the last page forward and I see you were having your car prepped and then a sealant applied. Which one did you go for in the end. From what I have read the GTech serum ultra seem the dogs doo dahhs. I know it’s professional application only but whatever I have it will need to be done by a detailer as I am physically unable. I will be able to wash it hence why I need a sealant.

That’s reassuring thanks. I’m going to stick with the Daytona Grey as it suits the car from the above photos and I love the reflective qualities.

Here’s mine in orca black with that that ceramic coat on after a year. Just washed it, which is very easy as the dirt literally falls off. Shiny.

Haven’t bothered, it’s waxed by me and washed safely. However none of these ***** are post waxing. I’ll dig some out.

    That is stunning!
If I had not previously had a car in black I would consider changing to this. It looked great when washed but was difficult to keep it looking that way
It never looked like that though. Having seen this I will definitely find somewhere to have this done unless Andymcdonald fancies popping round every so often to wash and wax mine to the standard of his

Let me think about that... errrr Nope! But I think you’ll find it easy to clean etc

Thanks. Relatively quick to do, probably takes about an hour end to end getting everything out and put back. Pre-fashion foam, jet wash, 2 bucket wash with micro fibre wash mit, jet wash, pat dry (as using normal water) and window vac, clean wheels. I’m not very tall so need step ladders to reach middle of roof though.
I did find the orca black looked quite grubby quickly before I had the ceramic coating on. Main thing now is fingerprints really show up on it given the shine. Have to tell family to be careful, a car’s not for using you know :-)

I’m the same Nemo! I haven’t washed mine since July (aside from occasional wet wipe to remove bird crap!). How standards have slipped!

Er I think your description of dirty is different to mine! You can still see reflections in those photos
Good to know the car still looks nice in that 'dirty' condition.
