    Hi Guys,

    I have a 2015 Audi Q7 (new shape), registration PN65 KKH.

Bought second hand and now realised none of the cigarette lighters work. Suspect the fuses have blown so was wondering if someone knew where/how I could access the fuse box & which fuses would need changing?

    Thanks in advance.

    Vinny

Just done this recently myself and stuck a larger fuse in because the 20A one always kept blowing.

Its on the passenger dash side panel iirc. Look in the manual to find which one it is.

What are you connecting to blow a 10a fuse?

An iPad/iphone shouldn't draw more than 2a.. Even that we count losses on charger circuit it seems too much

You could be looking at 3-5A per device if you are fully exploiting USB3-C and also its power delivery mode...
    Internal Error
Still I would personally not change up a fuse like that, its got a limit for a reason e.g. other parts/wiring rating.

This is interesting because I have blown that fuse a couple of times also. I have an iPad 2 and an iPad 3 inserted in two nextbase iPad holders. Then in the front I have a nextbase dashcam. This all seems to work fine with no issues.

However I have had two punctures recently (both repairable luckily) And each time I have tried to use the Audi supplied compressor it has blown the fuse. Audi have apparently checked the pump and have said it is fine but I don’t know how well they tested it! The first time I used the pump I only disconnected the dashcam and that blew the fuse. The second time this happened I disconnected everything and it still blew. When I then replaced the fuse and used my wife’s compressor from her A3 etron I didn’t have a problem.

So I am currently carrying a spare set of 10 amp fuses. Not for the pump but in case the kids iPads go down 🙂

Next time I am at Audi I am going to insist on them replacing the compressor.
