    Good morning all,

I have a 2010 2.0 Tdi 140 A3. I recently had the car remapped to 170hp and what a difference it has made. However... not long after the map I got the check engine light on (I think the code was P0121 but I am not 100%) and the fault related to throttle body or throttle pedal. The issue is that the car has a slight shudder at about 1800 rpm. If I'm driving at around 60mph in 6th and I put the foot down the car goes through a minor shudder very briefly, it's like driving on a bumpy road. I have changed the pedal and also the throttle body and this has made no difference at all.

Does this sound like a problem caused by the remap or is there anything else I could try? It is going in for a service this week so I'll see if a new filter does anything, it is also getting 2 new front tyres and a wheel bearing.

Any advice would be much appreciated, thanks

You should have them put the original map back on, any respectable remapping company will have kept your original map, and see if the problem reoccurs.
