Adblue System Fault - No Restart 1000km

Yep, it was a permanent fix. I've even had to refill the adblue since and there was no re-occurence.

Just to add my experience to this thread. I had the Adblue system fault come up yesterday - no restart in 650 miles countdown... (2014 pre face-lift ultra 104k miles).

An error scan suggested the injector was stuck closed but had been tested since and was OK, so I assume that the car retains the adblue system error despite it detecting that it was OK since. I reset the fault codes, drove 1/2 mile and the warning disappeared. I will update if the fault returns...

Interestingly(?) the fault was logged as occurring at 19:15 on 16/10/2019, but I did use the car again twice that evening, and it wan't until the next morning that the adblue system fault warning appeared on the dash.

I had the following error:

I had this fault on 2014 pre facelift model a few weeks ago Brought it to Audi dealer and a software update resolved the issue. They did not charge me.

Friends A6 2015 (65) had the same fault last week
Audi did the update yesterday and £120 later, fault gone.

I may get him to fight the charge given it is clearly an issue with the stock software!
