    Hi all,

I got a data sim in my car, google maps loaded up and works fine from what I can tell. But when I zoom in to 30yds, I can’t get the yellow street view man to appear. Doing this on a street that has a street view. This is on A7 MY14 facelift with MMI high (MIB I think).

    Any ideas ??

Unfortunately street view is not supported by Audi anymore, for quite a few months now. Mine stopped when I had the latest software installed.

Also, you'll find that MyAudi doesn't do as much as you expect either. I.e. News set up, twitter, POIs (special destinations). As far has been worked out, the latest maps can still be downloaded and installed (5 maximum) and destiantions can now be sent from google maps (that wasn't working for a while either). But that's about it. You may get lucky if you've had an Audi before and still have the old 'grey' audi app instead of the newer 'red' one. The old one still seems to work oddly enough, but isn't downloadable anymore from the Google Playstore and whatever Apple uses. The MyAudi website is pretty useless too, but others have had contact with Audi and some work is going on in the background to re-add functionality:

Destination cannot be sent from google maps on a PC if you are on the new server.....because the code has not been written for it yet. Still works if you are on the old one.

How do you know which 'server' you are connecting to though?

As stated, in another thread, if you are able to "send to car from google maps from a PC" then you are still on the old server.
