Heater blower motor and wiper jets just stopped working HELP somebody Please

Hi there im new here not sure if im posting in the right place if not my apologies. I have a 2005 vw touran and i have the same problem i have checked the motor it works fine and i have checked all fuses. my water jets arnt working either. Please can anybody shed a little light on what to try next?

I would check that there is 12V being supplied to the washer pump & blower fuses on the dashboard fusebox....

Just switch the ignition on and probe the little test points on top of the fuses with a voltmeter or test light. Make sure you have 12V being supplied to the blower and washer fuses.

Right i've checked and im only getting 2.4v to both the blower and the washers. What does that mean i have to do now please?

It sounds like there isn't any power being supplied to the fuses, so those circuits can't function.

The power for those fuse comes from a relay mounted on the power supply control module, located behind the dash on the driver's side....see the attachment.
What I would do next is remove the relay and probe the 4 terminals of the relay socket on the module with your voltmeter (with the ignition on).
I wouldn't jab your meter probe directly into the terminal slots though. Insert a straightened out paper clip, a sewing needle or something similar into the slots so you don't damage the terminals, then touch your meter probe to that to take a reading. You should find that two of the relay terminals (one large one and one small) have 12V and two have 0V.

If that checks out OK, leave the ignition on and reinsert the relay. Listen for it clicking as you push it in. If the voltages were OK and the relay clicked when reinserted that suggests the relay itself is faulty.

Thank you sooooo much for the advice. It was a faulty relay i replaced and hey presto it worked. Thank you so much again and just for future referance it was relay 460 above the interior fuse box. Thanks
