    Hi guys,

First post, diving straight in. Looking to buy a second set of winter wheels for the bus. Originally from an A5, all correct size wise, centre bore etc and are 7.5J but with a tiny difference in offset. Will I get away with the standard bolts with a 3mm difference? Tyre size staying the same at 225 55 17.

    cheers
    Mat

    Welcome Mat.

Although the A5 wheels are 3 mm further in, that's just the centre line and not the internal mounting face of the wheel. If they're the same width then the overall shift is 3mm inwards. Your existing bolts are fine and are the same as for the A5.

Out of curiosity, what size wheels do you have for your Leon? I know they're a different offset (50ish) as I just fitted some 18s to a Performance Packed Cupra 300 and had to be very choosy because of the calipers on the larger 370mm brakes. Not all 18s fit. If you're after some 17s I can give you a great link. Don't know if you can message through this or the "Cupra" forum if your post count prevents here.
