A4 3.0TDI 204ps white smoke

hello guys ,,

i have problem with my Audi A4 B7 3.0TDI BKN 150kw tiptronic , i have this car only 1 month so i dont know very much about my car but ,,, i need help i dont know what to do ..

engine sounds good.. power too... ,, rpm are stable ,, consuption around 8-10liter/100km ,oil and water levels are okay


Everything started after remaping and turning off my swirl flaps in chiptuning company , after 3 days it started smoking when my car was runing at idle ... at the start i was thinking that is DPF regeneration because i replaced my lamda sensor 1 day before my problem started...


But my car was smoking always when i was standing at traffic lights or car was just running at idle speed .. and when i start moving there was a lot of white smoke (i was smoking maybe 500metters-1km) so i put my car on diagnostic and i find out that 2 of my injectors are in bad condition ..

so i bought 2 used injectors from one guy and he told me that they are in very good condition and they was tested ... after replacing and coding the injectors it start looking better on VCDS than before....

but my problem with white smoke didnt disappear .... so my next move was flash my ecu with original software ... i had a copy on my usb key... but nothing changed ... still a lot of white smoke from my exhaust :/ i also tried replace my new lamda with old one ,... but nothing ... i also changed oil and oil filter and nothing ...


Any Suggestions?? and i'm sorry english is my second language

Is Your idle rough sometimes? The rest of injectors are probably bad too, get them checked on the injector stand - VCDS isn't reliable on this matter (ask me how I know ). When I bought mine 3.0 TDi 204ps 6 speed manual VCDS readings where good, but I had rough idle, some smoke and on the stand all of my injectors were found dripping fuel - had replace them all with new from Bosch.

Injectors look ok, I think its DPF issue.
Look with vcds how it regens, how often and are they completing.

White smoke at idle is a good sign of injector failure on a V6 CRTDI

i replaced all my injectors with remanufactured injectors for 900€ and smoke is gone but i feel that my car lost some horsepower little bit :/

Did You do the job yourself? Did You do the coding for the new injectors with VCDS?

yes, i did it by myself, o-rings and the washers are new too ... and i also put some vaseline on the injectors before inserting them in to engine .. all injectors are coded with new codes... but car is little bit lazy from low rpm ..but after 2500-2800rpm car is accelerating normal
