    So here is what I had. The front is the current ones, the back are the new version.

    I don’t remember them being that bad, but then again I don’t remember them being as good as the new ones. Maybe they deteriorated over time...?

    Just enabled video in motion through obdeleven. O yeah baby!

    On another note. I have enabled boot closing from drivers door/remote. It opens and closes from the drivers door button. But when I try to use the remote to open it (open works fine) and then try to close it via remote it doesn’t work.
    When the boot is open and I press the boot button on remote

    1 press - you can hear it unlocking
    1 press then hold - makes a sound and then goes down bout 1-2inches

    I have disabled and the re enabled it again, but still doesn’t work properly.

    Anyone know what’s going on, please

    My Allroad was like this, to close its just a short press of the fob button, took a few attempts to work it out, also now you don't have to hold the close button within drivers door, that is now a touch button.
    Be careful with VIM, if the police see a film playing as your driving your in for a surprise.

    I think its if in the drivers view, although I would have to check on that for certain. I remember a view years ago when DVD headunits came out, the screen would only play a film if the handbrake was on.

    Found this on the RAC forum while searching for info

    The 1986 Construction and Use Regulations said this:

    "109.—(1) No person shall drive, or cause or permit to be driven, a motor vehicle on a road, if the driver is in such a position as to be able to see, whether directly or by reflection, a television receiving apparatus or other cinematographic apparatus used to display anything other than information—

    (a) about the state of the vehicle or its equipment;

    (b) about the location of the vehicle and the road on which it is located;

    (c) to assist the driver to see the road adjacent to the vehicle; or

    (d) to assist the driver to reach his destination.

    (2) In this regulation “television receiving apparatus” means any cathode ray tube carried on a vehicle and on which there can be displayed an image derived from a television broadcast, a recording or a camera or computer."

    I believe the regulations have since been amended to keep pace with the technology.

    I have used the Ignorance plea before with success, but I wouldn't like to push my luck.
