The fixed price servicing has an hourly rate of £60 to investigate faults but I know our local dealer is over £100 for other stuff. My car is on the long life service interval and I do an oil change myself in between. We go to Audi as the car is under warranty but would definitely use a good indy if we kept the cars longer.

You dont have to go to dealer for maintenance such as oil change. Any car service can do that and you keep warranty.
Only repairs have to be carried out by dealer.
In Latvia KIA, VW and other dealers already got millions in fines for misinformation and illegal guarantee refusals.
European Commission made this clear already in 2010.
