    2008 Sharan 1.9 TDI, BVK

Background: Aircon is certainly working fine. Both hot and icecold. No gas leakage.

Car's windscreen is steaming up very badly for past month. It started suddenly from a weekend, i.e. it was not a gradual change.

I have changed the pollen filter, cleaned up glasses in and out but windscreen is fogging up excessively. We left the car today in a multi-storey car park, and came back after 2 hours to find the windscreen of our car and ONLY OUR CAR steamed up as if licked by 100 dogs.
    All carpets are dry.

After driving on motorway for 10 miles, the front fans are hot, as they should be. And rear fans are icecold near the carboot area even if the car is flipping roasting in
    the front.

    What do I do now?

    Please advice.

Hi, You've checked the carpets but it certainly sounds like water ingress somewhere. Any obvious coolant loss? Air con condenser drain blocked?
Unfortunately it doesn't take much of a drip to evaporate into an annoying amount of condensation. Have you looked in the spare wheel well? Some did suffer from a poor seal on the high level brake light. Look for faint watermarks on the inside of the boot window.
