    Hi all,

I've searched online and not really found anything definitive. My question is - Is it possible to replace the rear springs on an Audi A6 C6 without the one sided spring compressors. I do have spring compressors but read you need the type that have the disc that sits on the spring coil and attaches on only one side.

or could you undo the control arms and drop the spring that way?

All I see in Elsawin is the process you describe which uses the factory tools and compressor.

If I were you, I would look for aftermarket spring manufacturers fitting manuals on their websites. They should show how to remove the factory and replace their aftermarket lowering/sport spring.
