    Hi

I’m considering having my oil changed every 10k although the car is on long service intervals.

Had a price from a local service centre (non Audi). Price was 165

What other prices have people received? Is this a fair price?

Sounds like a good price to me.

Because I do not know the history of my ex Bentley management car (2017 Q5 Quattro 2.0 litre S line TFSI), and it had only 3963 miles in just less than 9 months, I am considering doing an interim oil change. I asked Oxford Audi how much and they wanted and they said £239.78 and that included 5.2 litres of Long Life Oil. They said they top up screen wash at the same time. I said,I do not need it and they said it is in the price. I said the wash bottle will be full if I comes to you and I will not be paying for that. No comment was the reply.

Mine is still under warranty, so it needs to be done by an Audi dealer for completeness and compliance. No ifs or buts, or statements like always do it myself. When it is out of warranty, I will do myself.

I will rephrase it. I want it to be done by my local dealer not needs to be.

Need to need to know the cheapest dealer in the area. Please.

Edited. OOPs my post was very badly worded. It did not read as I intended... completely wrong...too early in the morning. Will correct when back on my PC Next week.

    Ridiculous claim !
Dealer is not looking for anything in the oil, they do oil change and kick car out as fast as possible.
Nothing will be found there. Its nonsense and big misconception to believe dealer is doing some hardcore checks of the car while servicing it.
If something goes wrong with car on warranty and car has been serviced as supposed (not necessarily by dealer) there is both legs to stand on.
And you can do servicing at any car service, warranty or no warranty.
