    Hi all,

We have a problem with the NS rear light cluster on our convertible, in that the outer side/brake light is not working. I have changed the bulb to no avail, double testing by moving the bulbs from the inner and outer postions about, which confirms that it's not the bulb that's the problem.
I have run a voltmeter across the multiplug, and the delivery tracks within the bulb housing, and note a small voltage present, but not the full whack.

Am I correct in assuming that these units are multiplexed and that is why I'm reading a small voltage?

That being the case, where might the problem lay? I'm at a bit of a loss.

The earth pin to the nearside cluster burns out and TPS keep the plug, bulb holder and repair wire. I did one last week and it took me about half an hour in total. Why it is always the left I have no idea......
