Audi A6 2013 fan ventilator coolant problem

Hi,

after i turn off my car i hear ventilator fan coolant for about 1 min, every time i drive, short distance also, even outside temperature is 15 C. Is this normal, cause i just bought car
I drive it for about month and it is start to happen few days ago

I believe its to do with the DPF recycle programme as the engine runs warmer.
It will stop after a few days, or a good fast drive.

Hi. It sounds like the other poster, DPF regen. Take it for a drive in sport for around 20-30 km that should allow the regen to complete its cycle. You will notice when it's doing one, there is a slight loss of power and the idle rpm rises to around 1000 . If you do a lot of short journeys then once a week give it a 10-20 km run in sport that should keep it happy. Enjoy...
