Hello [Crasher] I did a quick back pressure test (at idle) using the lambda hole before the Kat and i showed 0 back pressure , the car still has the same symptoms hiccups from 1200 rpm to 3000 clears after that but slow acceleration like its running rich, stalls at traffic lights or when coming to a stop...and failed mot for being too rich (high CO)
i cant think of anything else unless its the ECU with the dodgy reference or the new distribuitor fitted by the P.O which has no brand on it other than this reference: 03090520AB ,from factory it should have had a bosch or marreli dizzy..?
Other thing the injector have a blue band on it i remenber Reading na old post on the internet that the blue band injectors where fitted to gti's?
I was surprised when the mot man said this car never failed mot before...

Any thoughts on what i should look for next as i need to take it to mot again next monday..?
    Cheers

Are you still running the D version ECU? You can use Bosch or Martello dizzy’s. Get me the part numbers off of the injectors.

Hi [Crasher] ,sorry this is the right reference of the dizy fitted on the car 030905205AB if it was a original bosh part or the like would have the brand stamped on it am i right?
Yes im still using the D ecu at the time i was looking for E version, used but couldnt find any local to me... (even over seas they seem hard to find)

The reference at injectors was under the conector part of it and they all had this number:0306031A ,but at the back of them 2 had 2146 ,and each of the others had 2326 and 1036
