They are now made of an Ethanol resistant material under a new VAG part number of WHT 005 422 B but they are silly money, about 10 Euro each! The specification is listed as inside diameter 7.52mm outside diameter 14.58mm thickness 3.53mm. These are available from Elring under part number 893.889 and from Bosch as 1 280 210 752.

Hi, once again thanks a lot. I will try to find them around with the references you provided...

Do you know if they're the same top and bottom since the bottom ones have a difrent colour?

    Cheers

Upper and lower are the same, the colour is the material identification, I think they are black now.

    Hi Crasher.
i could not find Elring ones but i found Bosch they first wanted almost 27euros i said i didnt expect that for 4 pieces of rubber they said hold on and gave me the final price of 12,44euros this was by phone, when i got there the packged was opened at the back and looks like it would have come with 5 pieces , but anyway i didnt said nothing just paid... Better than paying 27€
    http://
will fit them at the weekend and see if it makes difference to the car behavior...

    Cheers
