Hello! Audi 80 coupe project

Evening all,

Me and a chum have just started messing around with his 1989 80 Coupe 2.2 Quattro. This looks like a friendly forum so I though I'd sign up and post details of what we are doing

Another friend of mine is well underway with a very retro mk1 Golf project, involving going through three shells and locating various rare bits so far. Pics of both projects to follow...

It turns out the Audi is not actually a Quattro, it just has a Quattro badge on

This is it after we ended up taking most of the interior out to install speaker and an amp wiring kit. The previous owner had fitted the DTM backbox and abused the rear bumper, so they need sorting. It's had some serious pain at the hands of a gritty car wash too, so will need buffing back to a shine.

The guy with the Golf mk1 has now got himself an 80 saloon as well! I am going to be next I think, leaving the Vauxhall world behind
