Keyfob - Reduced Range

So title says is all. I used to get around 100, range on my keyfob when coming out of work, being on the first floor office and holding the key to my head! but of recent months, I have to be so close to the car, it's almost easier to put the key in the door lock. Any idea why the range would now be so poor.

Logic says either weak battery, reducing range. But the battery was changed less than a year ago or something with the receiving antenna, that might have changed. I've no idea where this receiving antenna is even located in the car?

Any ideas?

Don't know where you live but had a problem with mine not working recently so took it to the local guy in the link below who was very helpful indeed and soon sorted it out though no idea what he did. Try Google as I would think there must be similar places around the country or else give the guy a ring as he does online quotes....
