    Hello,

    I've got MK6 1.4TSI 2011. My cigarette lighter stopped working. I found fuse box diagram here and it says that fuse no. 42 is responsible for cigarette lighter. But it doesn't look like fuse no. 42 is 20AMPS (I have it green). Also, it looks unharmed. Any ideas?

    20A yellow, 25A neutral, white clear, 30A light green, 35A blue/green

    My fuse layout is similar to that link.

    F42 20A Blocking diode 2, Cigarette lighter, 12 V socket

    On mine there is no F42 but both Cigarette lighters work for my tyre inflator

    The handbook is useless for fuses. Mine says;

    At the time of print we are unable to provide an up-to-date overview of the locations of the fuses for the electrical consumers. This is because the vehicle is under constant development, because fuses are assigned differently depending on the equipment level and because several consumers may use a single fuse. You can get more information about the fuse layout from a Volkswagen dealership.
    My dealer will tell you sweet FA, that's why I started making my own fuse & relay layout from ElsaWin.
