    Hi

I need to order a new steering rack for my b8 but I’m unsure on the part number.

Its a 1n1 version as that is what it says on the sticker.

    I’m confused if it should be 8T2 422 066 or 8T2 422 065?

Then there also seems to be quite a few versions with letters.

Any help would be great thank you

ETKA FI suggestion says 8T2 422 066 C, Pr-1N1 just means normal hydraulic power steering as opposed to Servotronic 1N3 or 1N8 and Active 1N7, I will only fit genuine exchange or Bosch ZF exchange.

    Thanks Crasher. That’s great.
What do you mean by genuine exchange?

I was thinking of getting the one on eurocarparts?

Would getting a used on ebay be too risky?

Genuine Audi from a dealer parts department or local TPS and exchange where you have to give the old one back, the one you get may be new or maybe reconditioned, it varies. The rack was originally made by ZF Lenk System but due to some competition and mergers stuff, ZF sold this division to Bosch so when I need a ZF rack I get a Bosch exchange unit from a motor factors.
