Hi guys. I'm having an issue with the outer side of my LED lights. The fault comes up on the dash to advise the same, however the LED lights aren't completely off, they are lit up but somewhat dimmed. May this be a connection issue? I tried to have a look at it myself but there are tons of wires (satnav module is based there I believe).

Anyone had a similar experience? I believe if the LED light is off then it's off, right? It wouldn't partially work?

Pretty sure you have the common issue where the flexible circuit board inside the light starts breaking down and the tracks start disconnecting or the resistors have poor connection.

Mine had it when I bought it. I fixed it by removing the lense to access the circuit board, then soldering on new resistors and some jumper wires to jump the breaks in the flexible circuit board. I had to experiment with different resistors to get the brightness to match the other lights perfectly.

Then I sealed the lense back on and it's been great since. Touch wood.

    Good luck.
