Map Update via SD Card failing

Hi all,
Just wanted to join to say I have the same issue (TT QSL 2015) - I updated the maps without issue to 2016 revision in 2016, then tried to go to 2018 recently: no dice. Tried 2017 as suggested and it worked, so now waiting for VAG to fix so I can go to 2018 (or 2019 at this rate).

I'm not speaking with them, just waiting and hoping. When I first told them it wasn't working and wanted them to update the maps as a result, they told me that I'm out of warranty so would have to pay. They referred me to someone else when I objected but they didn't call back either.. I cant be deal with them

Hey all,

Well I noticed a couple of weeks ago the downloads had disappeared from my Audi website. At first I thought maybe I’d exceeded the downloads.

A week later the downloads were back and so I downloaded the same maps onto the same SD card. Today I tried installing it. Guess what....it worked!

I personally still think the previous maps were corrupt.

Please all try and let us know the results.

The files were definitely in error as I've updated in the past.

I’m confident it will work :-) First time for me and I was using same SD card.

updating for the first time vs subsequently are different use cases!
But as I said - given that the initial files failed for everyone, they then removed them, then re-issued a set which seem to work, chances are they've fixed an issue so will work for us all now. I will report back to for others to see the number of failures/successes (context is key!)

.. I finally logged in to download and I'm only seeing 2017 maps - did you install 2017 or the 2018 ones we were having issues with?
