    Hi all

New member here I’m looking to get a 2004 Allroad 2.5, I’ve seen 30/35mpg is normal for the car, just curious though, what sort of range are folks getting from a tank, and cost to fill,

    Many thanks

    James

Not sure if the AR tank is the same as the SE sport, mine costs about £80 to fill, I get a range of approx 320 miles according to the on-board diagnostics, my driving is always town driving and the best I've gotten is 23mpg, not taken it on a long distance jaunt yet as I have a leaking torsion box and don't want to risk it, it drops a few miles to between 18-20 if I boot it in sport mode.

£75-£80 to fill from empty. Average consumption from 6 speed manual I have seen over the last 8 years has been 34mpg, but on a long economical run it cangive up to 44mpg. Average between fill ups is around 400 miles.

In an interstate 470 miles ride on a fuel tank. On city trips 410 miles on a fuel tank. (Tip trans' )
