I found a lot of replacement screens on ebay and amazon. However I know there are different models of screens, is there a way for me to identify the model of the screen (without putting the cluster apart) my car use?
The screens are relatively un-expensive ($20 USD regardless of the model) so I was planning to buy all 3 models and take them to the dealership for them to do the replacement and charge me only for the replacement work.
Any assistance will be appreciated.
Hi,
BBA Reman might be worth a look? They specialise in repairing electronic components, and I think they do a lot of DIS screen replacements. Might work out cheaper to send your cluster to them and get them to repair it? Their website is http://www.bba-reman.com/gb/index.aspx
Good luck!
