Had our 2003 3.0 v6 sport for 9 years now, so she is getting on a bit (done 120k miles). Had her serviced last month (oil and all filters etc) but since then she seems to take longer to fire up, needs longer turning over. Any suggestions? Spark plugs weren't changed at the garage said they didn't need doing (they were done 2 years ago, probably 9k miles ago), even though I supplied them for them to change

    Any ideas guys please?

If it's diesel, check/change diesel filter. I only use Mann pieces and I am very satisfied, never had problems. I don't know your engine but you might have a plastic like pipe on your filter. In this case you should change that since it warms your diesel that goes into the filter.

It's ok. Than take the spark plugs out but let them connected elctrically and turn the ignition on. Don't start the engine. Check if they work. Check if they are wet. Clean them with a dry clean cloth very well and put them back inside.

Take care not to electro yourself ) Put a piece of wood between them and parts of the car. If they work and don't get wet, check change petrol filter. This might be your problem since you changed it with new part.
