New to B8 advice

Hi Folks,

I will pick up a 2010 A4 B8 Avant 1.8TFSI (CVT box) 110k miles in the next few days, it is coming from a dealer and has full audi service history. Are there any big item i should consider checking or replacing, before or after my 3 month warranty? i don't plan on engine modding this vehicle past making it run as cleanly as possible. Any advise will be greatly appreciated.

common issue is chain tensioner, make sure there is history for that and waterpumps(300) intend to leak etc etc

Thanks mate, what are we talking cash wise for this job? Is the dv valve another thing to replace?

It all depends where you get parts,which parts you will replace and who will do the job....hard to say, between 400-1000 with job... If no service record, i would ask 500 discount, if answer no, i would walk away
