    my rear tail light as stopped working, changed the bulb, checked the bulb holder still not working cant find which fuse controls it can anyone help

    They are not fused, the lights are computer controlled by the central electrics units so you would need a suitable diagnostic system to interrogate this and use functions such as output test to determine what is wrong. Have you tried just plugging in the other unit to see if it works?

    i swapped the bulb holders over and it wouldnt work on the o/s fiddle about a bit more and it came back to life, i have vcds and when i scan it i cannot scan module 9 or 46 central electric and central convenience it just comes up with to many communication errors

    You need to get into group 09 and if you can’t it means that the CAN BUS system has a problem or you are using a non approved VCDS dongle.
