Send to car from Google Maps not working

Hi guys, so how widely this issue spreads?

I can't access online destinations from MMI menu for at least a month. Says can't connect to the server.
All other online features are working, online traffic, etc. No issues with SIM/data connection (tried 2 different SIMs).

Was calling to Audi support, they have no clue what I was talking about...

Just in case, I've got A6 MY12, MMI 3G+

You aren't 'online' in that photo (TMC), so Audi Connect services won't work. I've noticed in my own car that the system has been temperamental recently. Sometimes Online, sometimes not. It would appear Audi are making server side changes which is affecting most users. On my way home from work last night I went online immediately, so I tested all the functions of Audi Connect and they all worked correctly.

Hi, it seems it was not "online" as I've made a photo just after starting the engine, it takes a minute or 2 to get "online" for the traffic data.
But unfortunately, it doesn't change Online Destinations connectivity in any way...
Here's photo after 20+ minutes drive - all online services are working properly, except Online destinations, can't connect at all.

Are you talking about the myAudi contacts that you send to car from the myAudi app?

Not contacts, but a list of destinations (locations to be used in Nav).
You can enter them from the myAudi app, or from Google maps and "send to XXX".

OK...Is your wording correct..100%? I see "Special destinations". Is that what you mean?

There appears to be confusion in the wording, not only between users, but between different people who program this stuff and developers.
Using the latest myAudi app, if I send successfully to car, and then look at the list that I have sent, the places are in the myAudi app as a list in the "Sent destinations". These destinations end up in my car under "myAudi contacts".

It appears you are still on the old server, because you cannot send to car from Google maps on the new one. It just does not work. Reason being they (Audi software contractor) have not written the program code yet. I have an email to this effect.

If you are not fussed about having the send to car from your PC (I presume that is what you mean) then perhaps worth creating a new user account on the new server and linking everything together?

As has been mentioned by others on different threads the send to maps via Pc function seems to work ok so long as you don't have an @ in the associated address.

Problem is new "beta" system does not support changing it which is a real shame.

That's alright, I can send everything properly to my account from the PC.

But as I've mentioned couple of times, the problem is to access the list from the CAR.

Ahhhh...yes! Totally different menu. They did say that eventually they would be moving everyone across to the new server in due course. How long they will take is anyone's guess.

Has it always been like this? Perhaps it gives a confirmation that it has been sent, but it does not appear in your car, because the code is not complete, but does not generate an error message. Just thinking out aloud here. This scenario does happen.
