Have given up trying to locate this fuse. No list or guide in user handbook so how the hell are you supposed to locate the correct fuses.? Has anyone got a diagram of fuse location, would be very much appreciated. Many thanks.

I have a few Touran fuse diagrams from looking for info in the past. There is no "direct" fuse for those lights that I can see. The VW Self-Study Programme docs that you can find a smattering of on the web state for other (similar) vehicles that the interior lights are controlled by the central convenience unit, to allow for various on / off behaviours like unlocking door, delay after leaving car, etc. In the Touran docs I have that's unit J393 on 25A fuse SC53, under the steering wheel. That may vary by model year though. On our 03 Touran that spot has a "see manual" icon on the credit card type info thing in the fuse holder, so you'd never spot it.

Hi, many thanks for that. Wasn't that fuse but through a process of elimination with a multimeter I found it to be one of the small 10amp fuses. I'll post pic later. However now have no central locking on passenger side. No access to fuel filler and boot won't open. All fuses tested and live so not sure what's going on!

Sounds strange, as the lights and those other things running from the CCU would make sense.
