I bought a Doguard Guardsman - Audi Q7 / SQ7 – mk2 – Dog Guard and Variable Boot Divider (part no. G1506B) from Guardsmen and I'm very happy with it. However, I appear to have loosened whatever is located in the inserts in the roof (inside)

Anybody any ideas as to how I can loosen the plastic surrounds to sort them out?

I'm able to get the plastic surrounds off okay, it's a clip-on, I can loosen the star-head bolt but I can't get the attached out of the roof lining.

    Load guard.png
    Removing
Remove moulded headliner and lay it down on seats; headliner does not have to be removed.
Press flap -2- towards rear, unscrew bolt -3- behind flap and detach retainer -1- for load guard.

Hmm, I will have to remove the headliner. What a pain. Anybody done this? Do you have the details on removing the headliner anemeth?

TBH though, personally I think the finish and quality of SOME of the NEW Q7 sucks like hell comparatively to the old version, for sure, a case of rock solid vs a a real bad work in progress :-0
